Viva Resource was born from a simple observation: rural communities in Colorado face unique challenges that urban-focused organizations often fail to address.
Our Vision
A Colorado where no rural community is left behind—where every family has access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to flourish.
Our Journey
What started in 2024 as a small resource distribution effort has grown into a bilingual support system, connecting families across El Paso County with food, housing, healthcare and legal navigation.
Jun 2024: Incorporation
Viva Resource is incorporated in Colorado on June 17, 2024 and starts bilingual resource navigation for rural families in Peyton and El Paso County.
Sep 2024: 501(c)(3) Status
The IRS recognizes Viva Resource as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 99-3552160), so donations become tax-deductible.
2025: First Full Year
A first complete year of food assistance, housing support and healthcare navigation, working alongside local partners across El Paso County.
2026: Today
Free know-your-rights workshops, the Ponte la Mochila back-to-school campaign and a growing volunteer network across rural Colorado.
