Viva Resource Receives Grant from The Colorado Health Foundation

Viva Resource is proud to announce that we have received a three-year grant from The Colorado Health Foundation to support our initiative, Programa de Liderazgo Comunitario, Promotoras y Abogacía para la Equidad en Salud (Community Leadership, Promotoras, and Advocacy for Health Equity Program).

This investment marks an important milestone in our mission to advance health equity, strengthen community leadership, and expand opportunities for historically underserved families and communities across Colorado.

Empowering Promotoras and Community Voices

Through this initiative, Viva Resource will focus on empowering Promotoras and community members with the knowledge, leadership skills, and advocacy tools needed to identify barriers, elevate community voices, and promote meaningful, community-driven solutions.

Three Key Areas of Focus

• Community Leadership Development: Supporting community members in becoming confident leaders and advocates for positive change.
• Promotoras Empowerment: Building the capacity of trusted community advocates to connect families with resources, education, and opportunities.
• Health Equity and Community Advocacy: Creating opportunities for community voices to inform decisions, address systemic barriers, and advance equitable access to health and well-being.
